The Audi A3 Allstreet is now available to order with the 40 TFSIe plug-in hybrid engine
The new Audi A3 Allstreet can now be ordered in Spain with the 40 TFSIe plug-in hybrid engine, producing 204 CV

It has been only a short time since Audi expanded the range of the new A3 with the 40 TFSIe and 45 TFSIe plug-in hybrid engines, the latter with a sporty character, at which point they also announced that sooner rather than later plug-in hybrid engines would also arrive in the Allstreet body style, although apparently they will only do so in the 40 TFSIe version.
Let us recall that if we opt for the Audi A3 Allstreet 40 TFSIe we will have under the bonnet a plug-in hybrid system made up of a 1,500 cc TFSI evo2 petrol engine with improved components, delivering 150 CV, while the electric part is powered by a permanently excited synchronous motor with 85 kW and 330 Nm of torque, integrated into the casing of the S tronic automatic transmission. Both motors together deliver a combined power of 204 CV (150 kW) and a torque of 350 Nm, allowing it to accelerate to 100 km/h in 7.4 seconds and reach a top speed of 225 km/h.

As part of this hybrid system we find the new 25.7 kWh battery, which doubles the capacity of its predecessor without any significant increase in size, although what does increase is its electric-only range of up to 141 kilometres. Its energy can be partially recovered during deceleration or braking, to a greater or lesser extent depending on the different recuperation levels that can be selected using the paddles on the steering wheel. Obviously, we can also charge it by plugging in the Mode 3 cable supplied as standard, going from 10% to 80% charge in under half an hour using direct current up to 50 kW. Using alternating current charging points or public charging stations with three-phase charging of up to 11 kW, charging takes 2 hours and 30 minutes.

Choosing the Audi A3 Allstreet 40 TFSIe gives us the same trim levels as the rest of the engine range, so from the entry-level Advanced trim we get features such as 17-inch alloy wheels, the Audi Drive Select dynamic driving system, stationary air conditioning and new graphics for the Audi Virtual Cockpit and the MMI screen showing information relevant to the hybrid system. On top of all this, it has its own styling that invites you to venture off the tarmac, thanks to larger-diameter tyres, SUV-style wheel arch trims and a ground clearance of 30 mm.
The new Audi A3 Allstreet 40 TFSIe is now available to order at the brand’s Spanish dealerships, with a price starting from 49,720 euros.
