The Audi RSQ e-tron will be the electric supercar star of an animated film
Audi has once again turned to the big screen to showcase its most radical vehicles, this time with the RSQ e-tron in an animated film.

Supercars play a prominent role in the world of cinema, where they are tasked with enlivening films with their charismatic presence. We have already seen them in numerous films related to the motoring world and in others focused on action plots, but now they have wanted to go even further. Audi, one of the brands that has had the greatest presence on the big screen with its lineup of supercars and prototypes, has found a new stage on which to showcase its most radical creations: an animated film that will be closely tied to actor Will Smith.
It will be the Audi RSQ e-tron that captures all the attention in this new installment, where it will act as the faithful companion of the protagonist, Lance Sterling, a secret agent inspired by the acclaimed American actor. This supercar is based on an electric prototype, and it gives us a foretaste of what the future successors of the Audi R8 could look like.
You are surely familiar with this combination of Will Smith and Audi, since we already saw them work together in other films such as I, Robot, a film in which the protagonist also drove a model from the German brand with a very futuristic look. This partnership is taking place again, only this time Smith will not be physically present, but his voice will be, which has been used to bring the character of Lance Sterling to life.

Without a doubt, we can appreciate a considerable evolution between the RSQ e-tron and the RSQ Concept used in the film I, Robot. The current concept car adopts a more modern design language, closer to the range of models that make up the Audi family, but more focused on a not-too-distant electric future.
On the one hand, we find a very aggressive and aerodynamic front end, two characteristics that are emphasized by the prominent splitter that takes center stage. At the same time, two slim and elegant headlights maintain the sporty character that the RSQ e-tron exudes and clearly draw inspiration from those found on many contemporary models of the four-ring brand. The rear is guarded by a powerful spoiler, which will deliver more dynamic and efficient driving.

Audi has wanted to show its future plans in an ingenious way, where its most radical and innovative vehicles take centre stage on the big screen. In this way, we can see the steps the German brand will follow, which will lead it to a range of electrified models that will still make room for emotion and sportiness.
