The BMW M3 CS already has its price set for Spain

A few days ago we told you about the creation by BMW of the M3 CS, a model that arrived to cover small differences in practicality compared with the M4 CS, such as the comfort and versatility offered by the M3’s four doors, which the M4, being the coupé version, does not have. Finally, following its announcement, the brand-new BMW M3 CS now has its price set for Spain.

Aesthetically, it will be easy to tell it apart from a standard M3 thanks to the use of carbon fibre in key components, such as the Gurney-type rear spoiler, the front splitter with a new geometry, the rear diffuser, the roof, and the bonnet, which is inherited directly from the BMW M4 GTS. The final touch comes from forged aluminium wheels inspired by the DTM, 19 inches at the front axle and 20 inches at the rear, which allow two types of tyres to be fitted depending on use: track or road.

There is no huge range of colours for the bodywork, nor is it something of pressing necessity, with a choice of five different shades named Alpine White (solid), Black Sapphire (metallic), Frozen Dark Blue II (BMW Individual), San Marino Blue metallic (BMW Individual) and, finally, the colour exclusive to this model: Lime Rock Grey (BMW Individual).

In the mechanical section, it has also been tuned to now deliver 460 CV of power from its engine, the same as the M4 CS, and 10 CV more than an M3 with the Competition Package and 29 CV more than the basic M3. Torque is also raised to 600 Nm, 50 Nm more than the rest of the M3 range. Thanks to this, and to a weight reduction of 50 kg, its acceleration to 100 km/h takes just 3.9 seconds. In addition, the exhaust system has been modified exclusively for this version.

Its standard equipment is in no way at odds with its sporty and radical character, featuring elements that will delight all occupants:

Its price will not suit every budget, especially considering it will be built as a limited edition of 1,200 units worldwide, of which only 10 units will be allocated to Spain with a price set at €129,600.
