The Bugatti Veyron and Vision Gran Turismo, together at an event in Paris

If there has been one supercar that has excited us over these last few years, it has undoubtedly been the Bugatti Veyron. This luxurious model with truly spectacular capabilities was one of the stars of the Richard Mille 2016 Concours d’Elegance. This French event, held in Chantilly, very close to Paris. The event is still quite new, as it has only three editions so far, and it hopes to become one of the most important events of this kind held during the summer.

The company regards this event as one of the most important on its calendar, so it wanted to shine there and presented not only this supercar but also included in its display the Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo, a car designed to appear in the video game of the same name. Both shared space for the first time at the Château de Chantilly and proved to be an excellent pairing in that very special setting.

At this event you can not only get in touch with the main buyers from across Europe, who gather at this show where supercars are within everyone’s reach. Collectors of luxury classic cars are also invited to the Concours Chantilly Arts & Elegance, so purchases tend to be more of a whim than a necessity, as is often the case at these events.

Bugatti built the last of the 450 Veyrons it sold, just over a year ago, of which only a few units remain to be sold. At the Frankfurt Motor Show, a few months later, the Vision Gran Turismo was unveiled. This model was conceived to offer a new car in the Gran Turismo game, but it became a reality, delivering a genuine spectacle.

The car carries much of the new design language the brand will have over the coming years, already seen on the Chiron, the major launch Bugatti has made, which has taken the brand and its models a step further. By the way, the Chiron will have only 500 units, of which just over 200 are already reserved, so it can be considered a real success.
