The BYD SEAL is renewed to offer everything its driver needs
The BYD SEAL is renewed to face 2026 with more strength and offer users more technology, a cleaner design, new colours and more excitement.

The BYD SEAL is one of the most popular models from the Chinese brand and has a significant presence in the European market and, of course, in Spain. One of the characteristics of the most popular vehicles is that manufacturers want us to enjoy these cars more and better. So the Chinese manufacturer has put the SEAL through an update process and has made several important changes to it.
One of the new features of this update to the BYD SEAL is an increase in boot space. It goes from 400 to 480 litres, but also adds another 19 litres to the front boot. In this way, instead of 53 litres, it offers 72 litres, in addition to eliminating the cover. This makes it more accessible and easier to use.

On the bodywork small details have been added that make its look more attractive. The tailgate has been fitted with the BYD logo and the available colours have been updated. The Ice Blue and Space Black shades disappear. In exchange, Obsidian Black, Lavender Grey and Ruby Red are added. 19-inch alloy wheels are also added to the Design and Excellence trim levels.

Looking at the cabin, there are also small adjustments that aim to simplify the user experience. The rotating function of the central screen has been removed and other visual elements, such as the NFC logo on the armrest and the BYD logo on the front seat headrests, creating a visually cleaner space.
On the technology side it incorporates a Bluetooth key, which makes access to the vehicle easier. The driver fatigue detection system (DMS) is responsible for monitoring the driver’s level of tiredness.

Three engine versions
The current three engine options remain the same. There are three versions, starting with the Comfort version. It has rear-wheel drive and a motor delivering 170 kW, that is, 228 CV. The BYD Blade Battery has a capacity of 61.4 kWh, which allows a range of 460 km on the combined cycle.
The Design version also has rear-wheel drive, with a motor that raises the power to 230 kW, that is, 313 CV. The battery in this case is 82.5 kWh and allows a range of 570 kilometres, also on the combined cycle. The top-of-the-range version is the Excellence AWD, which has two motors. This gives it a power output of 390 kW, which represents 530 CV.
This allows it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds and its battery gives it a range of 520 kilometres. It is fitted with adaptive dampers, which adjust automatically to road conditions. The iTAC (Intelligent Torque Adaptation Control) system, which distributes torque between the axles, increases stability, manoeuvrability and steering control.
A successful model
So far, the sporty electric saloon from the Chinese brand has won over 3,500 buyers in our country, and this new update is expected to win more satisfied customers with the offer this renewed model presents. A more intuitive, more manageable, safer car is expected, offering a more attractive driving experience.
Prices on the mainland and the Balearic Islands start at €34,455 for the BYD SEAL Comfort, €37,115 for the BYD SEAL Design and €41,060 for the BYD SEAL Excellence AWD.
