The Chevrolet Corvette Z06 will be the star of the American brand at the Goodwood Festival of Speed

One of the most special moments of the summer arrives for motorsport enthusiasts and for cars that leave you wanting more. The Goodwood Festival of Speed brings together in England some of the most spectacular cars of the moment, which will compete in a run that has become an unmissable exhibition event. There is also something we must keep in mind and that we like the most: it is more a showcase of cars and their features than a competition.

Chevrolet, although it will no longer be present in Spain since January 1, will have a special presence where it will not bring its most common production cars. In fact, what they will display are their most spectacular cars, such as the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 C7.R Edition. We already talked about this car a few months ago, as it is a limited edition with only 500 units for sale at a price, in the United States, of $79,000.

This car is equipped with the Z07 package, which allows it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds with the eight-speed automatic gearbox and 3.8 seconds with the seven-speed manual gearbox. The appearance at Goodwood will be the first time the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 is seen in Europe, and it will seek to secure enough orders on the continent.

But the Corvette brand will also be present at the Chevrolet Café, a venue set up so that fans of the brand have a place to eat, dine or simply enjoy a coffee surrounded by all the iconography of the brand and everything it has offered over the last 62 years.

The Goodwood Festival will be held starting on June 26, and in addition to the spectacular Corvette Z06, Chevrolet will present the Corvette Stingray Convertible, which will be tasked with climbing, alongside it, the famous hill where the Michelin Supercar Run is held.
