The Chevrolet Malibu arrives on the Spanish market from 25,800 euros

One of the most important American icons of the Detroit brand, the Chevrolet Malibu, arrives in our country. This saloon enters the European market with a very attractive price, with which it will try to win a good share of this competitive segment.
The Chevrolet Malibu is available from 28,500 euros, and initially its engine range consists of only two powertrains: a 2.4 petrol producing 167 CV and a 2.0 diesel producing 160 CV. Its interior also stands out for its good quality and fairly complete equipment.
The Malibu comes with two equipment levels: LT+ and LTZ. The first of these adds quite a few standard features, such as an automatic air conditioner, 6 airbags, rain sensor and lights or heated mirrors with electric adjustment. Inside, you will also find a navigation system with a touchscreen and a nine-speaker sound system.

For its part, the LTZ adds 18-inch alloy wheels, a dual-zone air conditioner, leather upholstery, heated seats, Xenon headlights and keyless entry and start. As for the engines, the 2.0 with 160 CV is also fitted to its sibling, the Opel Ingignia, and delivers a maximum torque of 350 Nm, with performance that allows it to reach 213 km/h and an average consumption of 5.1 litres per 100 km. As for the petrol engine, it delivers 167 CV at 5,800 rpm, with a 0 to 100 km/h time of 9.5 seconds and a top speed of 204 km/h. In this case, mixed-cycle consumption rises to 7.8 litres.
Finally, we come to prices. The cheapest is the one that combines the diesel engine with the manual gearbox and the LT+ trim, available for 28,500 euros. If you opt for the LTZ equipment level, you will have to pay about 30,700 euros, and if you want to add the automatic gearbox the price rises to 32,300 euros. The petrol engine is only associated with the LTZ trim, and its price is 29,200 or 30,800 euros depending on the chosen transmission.
