The Chevy Spark gets a facelift for North America
The North American Chevrolet Spark has received a cosmetic facelift ahead of its debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show, where it will be presented.

The Chevy Spark, a car that never quite manages to win me over, is set to receive a facelift for the North American market, where small city cars are slowly gaining acceptance, though still somewhat grudgingly. The “new” Spark will feature some very minor styling changes, little more than a face-lift, which will be unveiled in Los Angeles.
While the engine remains untouched with the familiar 1.2-litre unit (known in Spain from the LS and LT versions), the North American Spark now features the same two fog lights integrated into the lower part of the nose, but framed in black, while the grille surface is a little more generous, reaching part of the bumper.
There are other no less important details inside, as the instrument cluster has received a renewal, though not a fundamental one, but a cosmetic one. The aluminium inserts surrounding the instruments (or rather, the speedometer) have disappeared, giving way to black surrounds, following the same styling as the front fog lights.
The North American Spark offers the MyLink multimedia centre as an option, while air conditioning, electric windows, electric power steering, ABS brakes and the StabiliTrak stability control come as standard equipment in North America.
