The Citroën C-Elysée will get new petrol and diesel engines

The Citroën C-Elysée was unveiled not long ago and now gets new engines that strengthen the range of this sporty saloon. The new specifications will be available from July of this year, so we will soon be able to enjoy these new powertrains. From the company’s plant in Vigo, where this model is produced, the saloon that was World Touring Car Champion 2014 will be available with two petrol engines and one diesel.
The first petrol engine is a 1.2 PureTech 82, which delivers 82 hp, and which can also be fitted with the Stop&Start kit. Another petrol engine is a 1.6-litre VTi producing 115 CV, and its emissions allow it to meet the requirements of the Euro 6 standard; in its most economical version, the 1.2 PureTech 82 S&S ETG achieves emissions of 99 g/km and a consumption of 4.3 litres per 100 kilometres.
The diesel engine is a 1.6 BlueHDi that delivers 100 CV, achieving a consumption of 3.8 litres per 100 km and emissions of 98 g/km. These new engines bring an improvement in technical equipment, enhancing the versatility of this model.
As for price, the diesel version, in its Exclusive trim, includes manual air conditioning, the connectivity pack with Bluetooth, USB and audio input, speed limiter and cruise control, the Look Cromo pack, alloy wheels and rear parking assist, and will be available for €11,250. This recommended price includes transport, VAT, registration tax and the discount from the PIVE Plan, although it must be financed through Citroën Bank.
