C3 Citroen Range / versions Urban
The Citroën C3 range is completed with new configurations

Citroën has announced the introduction of new versions in the Spanish range of the C3. The first novelty is that the model can now be ordered with the three-cylinder PureTech engine producing 110 hp. This option, which features direct injection, a turbocharger and Stop&Start system as standard, replaces the previous VTi that produced 120 hp.
Compared with the previous engine, the new PureTech is more compact, lighter and offsets its slightly lower power with a greater amount of torque. Where the VTi generated 160 Nm at 4,250 rpm, the powerplant that replaces it reaches 205 Nm at 1,500 rpm. It is also more efficient, consuming 4.7 l/100 km, 17 % less than the VTi, and emitting 107 g/km of CO2.
The second novelty affects the PureTech engine with 82 hp. The Citroën C3 has been available with this engine in Spain since this summer, but initially it could only be purchased with the top trim, called Collection, and with the ETG5 automated manual gearbox. Now it can also be combined with the more affordable Tonic trim and the five-speed manual gearbox.
With this configuration, the Citroën C3 also consumes 4.3 litres of fuel per hundred kilometres. Both PureTech engines comply with the Euro 6 emissions standard, which means they are exempt from paying the registration tax, and customers can benefit from the Plan PIVE incentives. The prices of these versions are as follows:
- C3 PureTech 82 Tonic = EUR 12,600
- C3 PureTech 82 Collection = EUR 13,150
- C3 PureTech 110 S&S Exclusive = EUR 16,380
