The Citroën C4 SpaceTourer also benefits from the Origins special edition
The Citroën C4 SpaceTourer and the Grand C4 SpaceTourer are next in line for the Origins special edition, through which the brand celebrates its centenary

2019 is a special year for Citroën, as it is celebrating its 100th anniversary, and what better gift than to offer its customers advantages when buying their next vehicle from the brand. To do so, Citroën has created the Origins special edition, which will apply to the C1, C3, C3 Aircross, C4 Cactus, C-Elysée, C4 SpaceTourer and Grand C4 SpaceTourer, which will benefit from special decoration and receive greater standard equipment.
With the Origins special edition, the French brand aims to bring certain reminiscences of its past into its current range, and today we will focus on the C4 Space Tourer and Grand C4 Space Tourer models. Looking at Citroën’s historic models, the C4F of 1931 could be considered the reference model, as it featured five seats with a rear bench, a rear tailgate for easier loading, and great spaciousness and comfort as its main characteristics.

For both C4 SpaceTourer models, Citroën has chosen three elegant body colours, namely Banquise White, Steel Grey or Platinum Grey, which can be combined to add a contrasting note with the Black Top black roof, a colour that also appears on the wing mirror casings. The wheels chosen are 17-inch in black with a grey front, also featuring small details in bronze anodised finish. Finally, Citroën has fitted “Origins since 1919” logos on the front doors and the rear tailgate.
Inside, Citroën has equipped the C4 SpaceTourer Origins with Beige Duna upholstery, to which must be added equipment that, first and foremost, emphasises occupant comfort. To this end, the front seats feature enveloping “relax” headrests, and these seats also come with a massage system and electric lumbar adjustment, along with the option to fold the front passenger seat down to use it as a table; finally, the rear seats benefit from reading lights.

The other equipment point to note is the technology section, where we find the 17-inch touchscreen that incorporates the Citroën Connect NAV connected navigation system, which provides real-time traffic information; we can make even greater use of this screen if we install optional elements such as Park Assist, the 360° camera or the blind-spot monitoring system. But that is not all, as Citroën also includes as a gift the Pack Safety, which comprises the Active Safety Brake system, speed limit recognition, driver fatigue alert and electrochromic rear-view mirror.
For both the Citroën C4 SpaceTourer and the Grand C4 SpaceTourer, the French brand offers two engines: on the one hand the 130 CV PureTech petrol engine, and on the other the 130 CV BlueHDi diesel engine, although the latter can be fitted with an automatic gearbox. Prices start from €20,790 for the C4 SpaceTourer with petrol engine, including taxes and the promotional discount.
