The Cybex Cloud Z2 and Sirona i-Size car seats receive excellent ratings in safety tests

The Cybex Z2 car seats Cybex Z2 and the Cybex Sirona Z2 i-Size and their corresponding Z2 base have received excellent scores in the ADAC safety tests. The new Cloud Z2 i-Size infant carrier features a reclined position inside the vehicle that provides greater comfort for the child without compromising safety on the road. For its part, the Sirona Z2 i-Size car seat includes a 360-degree rotation mechanism even when the seat is reclined.

The new newborn insert cushion allows the baby to be placed in an ergonomic horizontal position, thereby reducing the risk of the head falling forward while sleeping. Both seats have been evaluated in the latest Child Restraint Systems Report carried out by the German General Automobile Club (ADAC) and by the German consumer organisation Stiftung Warentest. Both the Cloud Z2 i-Size infant carrier on the Z2 base and the Sirona Z2 i-Size have received excellent ratings, with overall grades of 1.7 and 2.3 respectively.

Cybex sets a new record with the Anoris T i-Size

During last May, it achieved the best rating ever obtained in this test with the Anoris T i-Size (1.5) – as the Cloud Z2 i-Size obtained the best safety grade in history (1.0), with a Very Good rating and standing out in the impact categories.

Just like their predecessors, the Cybex Cloud Z2 i-Size and Sirona Z2 i-Size are based on a modular concept. That is, a flexible system that allows the same base – in this case, the Z2 base – to be compatible with both the first and the second baby seat, covering the child from birth up to 105 cm or approximately 4 years of age. The new Z2 base features a rotation system and an integrated direction control in the base that prevents the seat installed on it from being used forward-facing before what the law permits.

With the aim of facilitating the transition for all those parents who one or two years ago purchased the previous Cloud Z i-Size model and need to move their children up to the next group, the Sirona Z2 i-Size is compatible with the Z base, without the need to buy the new Z2 base.
