These are the 10 best-selling cars in October 2022
Do you want to know which models were the best sellers during the month of October?

Once again, and as every month, we are going to find out which are the ten best-selling cars during October 2022. This time, Toyota stands out, having become the brand preferred by Spaniards during the tenth month of the year after reaching a total of 5,920 units. In total, 65,966 passenger cars and SUVs were registered in October, but which model has managed to reach the top of the ranking?
Unlike other months, and to make the review more interesting, we are going to start with the number ten spot, although it must be said that the ranking has been very tight this month. Compared with the same period in 2021, sales have grown by 11.7% according to the Spanish Association of Car and Truck Manufacturers (Anfac). However, although this is the third consecutive month of growth in the Spanish market, October’s figures remain below pre-pandemic levels (2019), with a drop of 29.8%.
According to Félix García, communications and marketing director at Anfac, “the sector continues to suffer the serious semiconductor crisis that is hampering production. Although demand persists, manufacturers continue trying to minimise the production pace problems caused by the shortage of components. As the war in Ukraine and geopolitical tensions in Asia continue, we do not expect the situation to improve until 2023, so the market will close, in the best-case scenario, at around 820,000 new passenger car registrations, more than 35,000 fewer cars than in 2021.”
Hyundai Kona

The number 10 spot goes to the Hyundai Kona, which managed to register 1,136 units during the tenth month of the year. Not bad figures at all.
Citroën C3 Aircross

The number nine spot goes to the Citroën C3 Aircross, which managed to place 1,171 units in the ranking during this period.
Toyota Corolla

Eighth place goes to the Toyota Corolla, an evergreen model that is winning over more fans as the months go by. It reached 1,204 units
Fiat 500

The Fiat 500 drops to seventh place during October. This time it managed to register 1,226 units.
Opel Corsa

The Opel Corsa takes sixth place in the ranking for October. It placed 1,236 units.
Toyota C-HR

Once again, the Toyota C-HR appears in the selection of best-selling cars. This time, the diamond of the Japanese brand has garnered a very good 1,322 units.
Citroën C3

Kia Sportage

With the Kia Sportage we enter the podium, taking third place with an interesting 1,398 units registered in October.
Hyundai Tucson
