The design firm Zagato is preparing the launch of its first gull-wing hypercar
Zagato is one of the best-known and most highly regarded car designers, and it is now going to launch a model of its own that aims to surprise with its design and performance.

Hypercars are becoming more and more numerous, and manufacturers of this type of vehicle are working hard to create increasingly attractive models. The latest we have news of is a supercar being created by the design brand Zagato. We don’t yet know the name of this impressive vehicle, but we do know it will be unveiled during the Zoute Grand Prix in Belgium next month.
The design was handled by the company, but manufacturing falls to the company Capricorn, which will be responsible for giving shape to the design that emerged from the designer’s workshops. Only 19 units are expected to be built, and they will be hand-assembled, so the level of craftsmanship and quality will be very high.

We don’t know much about this car. In fact, only one image has been released, showing the front silhouette of the car in shadow. However, that image has been lightened somewhat, which has revealed some of the aesthetic details we will find on the car’s exterior.
What we can clearly see is the presence of gull-wing doors, which open in a very practical way and showcase the design work carried out on this vehicle. The mirrors are quite prominent and stand out noticeably from the bodywork.
A large air intake dominates the bonnet, and the front bumper is quite understated given the style of the car. The headlights also show a fairly innovative design that sets the tone of the rest of the vehicle. The retro style is part of the DNA of this hypercar, which makes it even more appealing to potential buyers of the model.
Nothing is yet known about the interior, but one detail offers an important clue. Behind the steering wheel you can see an instrument cluster made up of three analogue gauge housings, which hints at a design in this style, steering clear of the screens that are so common today.
In this way, the collectible car designer is also entering this market, shifting from its traditional role as a designer for other brands to a more active one, as the manufacturer of one of these supercars that will become a coveted object for many enthusiasts of this kind of car that stands apart from the ordinary.
