The Chinese brand will strengthen its presence in Spain with the addition of the DFSK 500 to its range, a new compact SUV joining its models.

If there is one body style that is selling well in our country, it is the compact SUV. They are versatile vehicles used both for urban mobility and for getting around rural terrain. Manufacturers know this, so more and more models of this type keep arriving. The Chinese brand DFSK is already present in the Spanish market and in the first weeks of 2023 it will strengthen its range with the DFSK 500.
This new compact SUV joins the DFSK 580, a seven-seat SUV; the DFSK F5, a coupé-bodied SUV; and the DFSK Seres 3, which is fully electric.

The DFSK 500 has a length of 4.38 metres and features an attractive, dynamic and modern design. The interior is also very appealing and allows five people to travel in comfort. That comfort is especially noticeable in the rear, as there is no central tunnel and there is a generous amount of space for rear passengers.
Among the equipment available on this model are an automatic gearbox, air conditioning, the full-link infotainment system, eco-leather upholstery and automatically folding exterior mirrors. It will reach the Spanish market in two trim levels, Luxury and Intelligent.
As for the engine, the DFSK 500 is equipped with a 1.5-litre unit, which produces 114 CV. As a side note, this engine can run on both petrol and LPG, so it can obtain the ECO environmental label from the DGT and enjoy the benefits that come with it.
This engine offers a consumption of 7.1 l/100 km and pollutant emissions of 171 g/km. In a few days we will learn the final price of this model in Spain, and you will be able to start enjoying driving this new model that comes from China.
