The DS 3 Black Lézard was designed by the Colour and Materials Design Team at DS Automobiles together with Duordin, with whom they developed a technology that created adhesives that perfectly imitate this type of leather to decorate this version of the popular French compact. The use of high-quality imitation lizard leather on this model is not intended for the seats, which would be quite complicated and unfeasible due to their complexity.

The imitation lizard leather pieces are located on the exterior as well as the interior Instead, this material can be found on the upper part of the doors, on the rear spoiler and on the roof of the car. If you are wondering whether this type of material, however perfect it may be, will be able to withstand the passage of time and deteriorate under the effects of the weather, you can rest easy. The brand assures that it is a material as resistant as genuine leather.

In this version of the DS 3 you will find a petrol engine PureTech 110 and a BlueHDi 100 diesel unit. The former is paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed automatic. The diesel engine is paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
