Renault Twizy Electric Cars Curiosities
The Dubai Police continues to expand its unique collection: now a Renault Twizy

Officers of the Dubai Police Force can’t complain about monotony in their work: almost every week they debut a new vehicle to patrol the streets and watch over the safety of citizens.
Some time ago we told you about the addition of a Lamborghini Aventador to the police fleet, to which more companions would later be added.
After gathering in their garages jewels such as the Aston Martin One-77, the BMW M6 or the 2013 Mustang, now it is the turn of another, less “ordinary” car. It is the Renault Twizy electric two-seater, produced exclusively for the whole world at the French brand’s factory in Valladolid. Although it cannot be compared with the rest of the police garage’s residents, it certainly is capable of competing when it comes to attracting attention.
This small electric vehicle has a 17 CV motor that allows it to reach a top speed of 80 km/h, with a range of 100 km thanks to a lithium-ion battery pack. Without even doors, this small city car will be used mainly for patrol duties in residential and quiet areas, where power and speed demands are lower than usual.
