Many of you may already know RUF, the German manufacturer that develops its creations based on the Porsche models and is known for its electrified versions of the 911. This time, taking advantage of the Copenhagen Climate Change Summit, RUF has unveiled an electrified version of the Cayenne.

Under the name Stormster, the electric Cayenne features a Siemens motor producing 367 CV and 950 Nm, the same motor already used in the eRUF Greenster (that is, the electric 911). The batteries, made by Li-Tec Battery GmbH (a German company specializing in automotive battery production), offer a range of 200 km.

Its performance is not impressive, but it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 10 seconds and has a top speed of 150 km/h, decent performance for an electric vehicle. As for the possibility of bringing the Stormster to production, RUF has not yet stated its intentions, but if they ended up launching a limited series of the Greenster (electric 911), who knows whether this electric Cayenne could also make it to production.
