Millennials are the generation of people born from the 1990s until the early years of this century, who are now in their prime consumer years, and many products are being developed for them, with their needs and wants in mind. Cars are no exception, which is why models with a youthful look usually come equipped with everything younger buyers need in their daily lives. The Fiat 500 is one of the cars designed with them in mind, and so a version equipped to appeal to them has been launched.

It is called the Fiat 500 Mirror and has just arrived on the Spanish market. The model features something that tends to interest this type of user a great deal: the ability to fully integrate the smartphone into the infotainment system. This way, the driver and passengers can make use of the phone’s capabilities on the car’s touchscreen.

The Uconnect system fitted to the Fiat 500 Mirror features a 7-inch screen, giving access to all of the car’s technological equipment. In addition to phone connectivity, it includes a speed limiter and cruise control, which comes as standard from the Lounge trim, and automatic light and wiper control, available as an option.

The driver has the Uconnect controls on the steering wheel, to raise or lower the volume or change the song without taking their eyes off the road. Also included are a USB port, an auxiliary input and Bluetooth. The new Fiat 500 Mirror is available as a saloon and as a convertible, equipped with a 1.2 engine producing 69 CV and a consumption of 4.9 litres per 100 km, as well as the 1.3 Multijet II engine producing 95 CV, which it shares with the Panda.

Prices for this version start at 11,000 euros, and it is already available at Spanish dealerships.
