The Fiat 500X gets updated for 2018 with quite a few changes, subtle but interesting

The Fiat 500X is one of the best-known versions of the small city car, and it is set to face the coming year, 2018, with new features to strengthen its presence in the market and keep earning the trust of buyers. One of the things you will find in the model is the UconnectTM HD Live infotainment system, controlled through a 7-inch screen and compatible with Apple Car Play and Android Auto, so it offers connectivity well suited to the times we live in. This system will be available from the Pop Star trim onwards.

With the UconnectTM HD Live, the small city car will be equipped with a system featuring a Bluetooth hands-free interface, audio streaming, SMS reader and voice recognition, an auxiliary connector and USB port with iPod integration, and steering wheel controls. In addition, the rear-view camera for parking and the TomTom 3D navigation system are available as an optional package to further enhance the equipment.

Drivers are also connected through the UconnectTM HD Live services offered via mobile phone. Buyers can download the app from the Apple Store and Google Play Store and enjoy music in streaming with Deezer and TuneIn, news via Reuters, and other services such as social networks or navigation with the TomTom service.

On the exterior, several new body colours have been added: Bronze Donatello and the fascinating Verde Alpi Matt. In addition, the name has been changed to Urban Look, while the bolder, more rugged version is called Cross Look. In the first case, the Pop, Pop Star and Lounge trims will be available, while the second will come with the Cross and City Cross versions.

The starting price of this new update to the Fiat 500X begins at 12,900 euros, and it can already be reserved at the brand’s dealerships.
