The first-team players of Atlético de Madrid receive their new Hyundai
The male and female first-team players of Atlético de Madrid have received cars from their sponsor, Hyundai, at a rather special event.

Players in the first-team squads, both men’s and women’s, usually receive gifts from the club’s sponsors. And when the sponsor is a car brand, the players get new cars, preferably the latest models from the brand sponsoring them. That was the case for the male and female first-team players of Atlético de Madrid.
In this case, the sponsor is Hyundai, so everyone has received a car to celebrate the collaboration between both brands. The vehicles were handed over at the Civitas Metropolitano, and the event was attended by first-team members of both squads, including Koke, Oblak, Lola Gallardo, Carmen Menayo, Álvaro Morata, Maitane, Marcos Llorente and Marta Cardona. Coaches and members of the technical staff were also present.

An original event
To get the keys to their cars, the beneficiaries of this handover had to play a hunt to find them around the entire stadium. To find them, it was necessary to draw on the technology of Hyundai. The main star was the SPOT robot, designed jointly by the car brand and the robotics specialist company BOSTON DYNAMICS.

This robot uses artificial intelligence to operate autonomously, and it was key to moving across the pitch and discovering where each player’s keys were hidden. To power the robot’s battery, another milestone of Hyundai technology was used. The IONIQ 5 produced the energy needed for the robot to function and complete its task.
At the event, the brand’s new slogan was unveiled, For the fans, for the future, which will coexist with the current one, Progress for Humanity. The new slogan reflects both Hyundai’s commitment to keep moving forward toward the future and the football club itself, where the support of fans is essential.
