The Ford Mustang Mach-E flexes its muscles thanks to Motion R Design

There are brands striving to show that an electric car does not have to be boring or anonymous. A clear example is Ford, a firm that has pulled off a stunning feat with the new Ford Mustang Mach-E. The American SUV does not waste the Mustang name, offering sporty variants such as the GT. Even so, there are companies ready to lend a hand to the oval badge’s brand, such as Motion R Design, which has proposed a highly aggressive styling kit for the Ford Mustang Mach-E.

Tuners, too, must get ready — pun intended — to face the electric era that is coming. Fortunately for them, manufacturers are also showing off electric sports vehicles and therefore are much more likely to receive this kind of modification.

At first glance, Motion R Design does not appear to have made any changes to the mechanical side of the American SUV. On that basis, we are left with a styling kit that seeks to further accentuate the characteristics of the Ford Mustang Mach-E and give it a greater presence on the road, achieved through various components finished in carbon fibre and wheels designed specifically for this model.

The first thing that catches the eye is the front, where a carbon fibre splitter, a bumper and a grille in the same material stand out. The side is distinguished by more pronounced wheel arches and carbon fibre sill covers, complemented by wheels courtesy of Quantum44 and a new suspension that considerably lowers ground clearance, which translates into a more imposing look and better dynamic behaviour.

Last but not least, the rear deserves a mention. This area features a more aerodynamic carbon fibre spoiler and a new diffuser. Also worth noting is the carbon fibre rear bumper, which makes the Ford Mustang Mach-E lighter, although Motion R Design has not specified by how much.

For now, we do not know the price of this styling kit, but we are sure it will not be cheap. What matters most, however, is that the door has now been opened to modifying electric cars, which will give rise to countless new aesthetic and mechanical parts poised to mark a before and after.
