The Ford Mustang, the classic car most wanted by Europeans

Ford has very popular models in its lineup, but among them all, there is one that stands out, and has been standing out for more than 40 years. This is the iconic Ford Mustang, the forerunner of the “muscle cars”, which has legions of followers all over the world.

The brand has added another award to the Mustang these days, that of “the classic car most wanted by Europeans”, even though the pony has not yet officially arrived in Europe. This recognition comes from a survey carried out by the Autoscout24 portal.

More than 75,000 users from several European countries (Germany, Austria, Belgium, Spain, France, the Netherlands and Italy) voted for the classic car they would like to own. The results speak for themselves, since a majority of 37% chose the Ford Mustang as their star car. Well behind were the other two finalists, the BMW M1 (20%) and the Volkswagen Beetle (11%). It is clear that the Mustang is one of those cars that every motoring enthusiast has dreamed of at some point. Who has not imagined driving a Mustang along one of those enormous, deserted and lonely American roads?

Fans of the Ford par excellence will soon have the chance to buy the Ford Mustang officially in Europe, since the American brand has announced that it will import the model, with specifications suited to the European market. This way, Ford will also be able to compete with its compatriots in Europe, since other models such as the Chevrolet Camaro have been sold in Europe for a couple of years now.
