Alfa Romeo Giulia Stelvio Sedans SUV
The Giulia and Stelvio QV are being prepared for Geneva with the Nürburgring special edition
Alfa Romeo debuts a new edition called Nürburgring on its flagship models: the Stelvio and the Giulia QV. Both vehicles feature exterior enhancements.

Many manufacturers choose to unveil some of their new models a few days before a major event -such as the Geneva Motor Show in this case- in order to generate greater anticipation for their new models, and they certainly succeed. Within this strategy we find Alfa Romeo, which has presented a very special edition called Nürburgring for its two flagship models, the Giulia and the Stelvio. This new version further accentuates the sporty characteristics of the Quadrifoglio Verde versions.
That’s right, this package can only be applied to the most powerful variants of both models, which is logical given the number of radical elements the Nürburgring edition involves. To shorten the reference to one of the most iconic circuits in the world, the Italian brand has chosen to indicate that this is not a standard Alfa Romeo by means of the “NRING” badge, which we will see in various areas of the Italian sports cars; however, this is not the only new feature that both models incorporate.
The main changes can be seen both on the exterior and the interior, which serve to highlight the essence of the Stelvio and Giulia QV. Both vehicles will be finished in a special paint called Gris Circuito, honoring the origin of the edition they incorporate. This color is complemented by the presence of various exterior carbon fiber elements, such as the front splitter and the mirror housings.

The Italian brand has also decided to add a touch of exclusivity to the interior of the Stelvio and the Giulia, for which they have fitted the most radical seats signed by Sparco, which feature a carbon fiber structure in order to reduce the weight of both models. At the same time, certain inserts in the same material have also been added, so that sportiness is present in every corner of the Italian vehicles.
As for the mechanicals, Alfa Romeo has decided not to intervene, since we find the same supercharged V6 engine of origin Ferrari capable of delivering more than 500 CV of power. To be more precise, this engine produces 510 CV and 600 Nm of torque, figures transmitted directly to the rear axle of the Giulia QV and to both axles in the case of the Italian SUV. However, great power means great braking, which is why the brand’s engineers have fitted carbon-ceramic brakes as standard.

Without a doubt, exclusivity is even more present in vehicles bearing the Quadrifoglio badge, which is also reflected in the number of units produced of both the Giulia and the Stelvio. Only 108 units of each will be manufactured, a number that matches the same years that Alfa Romeo has been in existence. For now we do not know the price of the Stelvio and Giulia QV NRING, but we can assume the figure could comfortably exceed 110,000 euros.
