The Hyundai i30 5-door gets updated trim levels and engines

Hyundai has decided to refresh the i30 range in an update that involves no redesign, but does include changes to the available colour range, as well as some changes to trim levels and engines. The i30 will adopt the trim level scheme presented on the ix35, which we drove in one of our recent and customary first-contact sessions.

The new Hyundai i30 5-door will feature the Essence, Klass, Tecno and Style trim levels. The SKY option, which features an electrically operated sunroof, is retained. The diesel engines will be the 90, 110 and 128 hp CRDi units, while the petrol engines will be the 100 and 135 hp versions.

The Essence trim is the least equipped, but it does not lack an acceptable level of equipment, as shown here: ESP, TCS, ABS, EBD, multiple airbags, power steering, air conditioning, trip computer, CD/MP3 radio, four speakers, fog lights, front electric windows, central locking with remote, electric mirrors.

It is worth noting that the three-door and estate versions will not yet incorporate these changes, so their trim levels will remain as they are until now. For the remaining versions receiving the new changes (including the special Go Brasil edition with somewhat more equipment), the prices are as follows:
