I-Pace Jaguar Electric Cars SUV
The Jaguar I-Pace, rival of the Tesla Model X, is spotted ahead of its launch
The new Jaguar I-Pace has been seen in its final configuration but camouflaged months before its official debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

The Jaguar I-Pace is the first electric vehicle from the company and will reach the market at the end of this year. The highly anticipated SUV has been spotted in its final configuration, though camouflaged, near the headquarters of Land Rover in Gaydon, England.
The Jaguar I-Pace has very similar features to some of its rivals such as the Tesla Model X or the Audi e-tron; two models scheduled to launch between 2018 and 2019.

The British brand had already tested the Jaguar I-Pace on the streets of London as a prototype, but it is only now that we have seen what appears to be its final configuration.
Jaguar confirmed that the production plan for this model would be short-lived, so the production version is similar to the prototype initially presented. The I-Pace will have two electric motors producing 400 CV of power and 700 Nm of torque. The model features a 90 kWh lithium-ion battery and offers a range of almost 500 kilometres. In addition, the future SUV accelerates from 0 to 100 in under four seconds.
Most elements of the next model from the British firm are finished in aluminium. This material, together with the compact size of its electric motors (each one is 500 mm long with an outer diameter of 234 mm), provides a generous amount of space inside the cabin.

The I-Pace is already available on the official website of Jaguar, although we do not yet know its price. According to automotive industry experts, the model will compete with the Tesla Model X, the Audi e-tron and the new Mercedes EQ generation.
Although the first prototype was shown at the Los Angeles Motor Show in November 2016, the final configuration of the Jaguar I-Pace will be presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September of this same year and will reach our roads in 2018.
