The Jeep Renegade will arrive in Spain at the end of 2014

A few months ago we saw the new Jeep Renegade at the Geneva Motor Show, the latest offering from the veteran off-road brand , which will reach Spain at the end of this year and will represent a new compact SUV for the Spanish market.
Among the many features equipped on the Jeep, based on the platform of the Fiat 500, the nine-speed automatic gearbox stands out.
The two engines that deliver power to the Jeep Renegade are the 1.4-litre MultiAir2 petrol engine, which produces 140 CV, and a Multijet II 2.0 diesel unit that reaches 170 CV. Both, combined with the nine-speed automatic gearbox, offer better driving response and also make it a much more efficient powertrain with lower consumption.
All this power can be distributed to both axles or just one, depending on the chosen version. The version that uses 4×4 traction does so thanks to the Jeep Active Drive system, exclusive to the brand, which provides the grip and force needed to be a great off-road vehicle.
The equipment aims to attract the attention of younger users with the full range of multimedia offerings that no car today should be without. And all of this without forgetting that it is a Jeep, and that it is expected to meet the expectations that cars of this brand have always lived up to. A good option for driving off-road and on the road for those who enjoy both worlds in a compact and highly efficient format that will arrive in Spain at the end of the year.
