The Lamborghini Aventador SVJ is teased in this preview ahead of its imminent presentation

The latest-generation supercars arrive to mercilessly sweep away the past that preceded them, something they achieve through new technology and a more precise and effective powertrain. The Lamborghini Aventador has been one of the most successful vehicles in its segment, and now it arrives in its most radical version to continue its undeniable reign until the end of its days. The letters SVJ have been responsible for giving life to the fiercest bull of all time and, after posing for the media under camouflage, it finally teases itself in this preview.

Lamborghini has made sure to offer the world the fastest supercar around the Nürburgring, where it dethroned the Porsche 911 GT2 RS even though the latter continues to fight on other circuits. For now, this latest creation from the Italian brand remains a complete mystery, but we can glimpse some details that bring us closer to the high level of both mechanical and aerodynamic performance it will offer.

The first thing that leads us to appreciate the considerable improvement over the standard Aventador and the SV is its aerodynamics, which has received what we know as ALA. These initials correspond to Aerodinamica Lamborghini Attiva, an innovation first applied on the Huracán Performante. Thanks to it, the airflow is far less detrimental to the precision and efficiency of the Italian brand’s supercars.

This system has allowed the Aventador SVJ to be much faster and more agile, but it is not the only component that has helped accentuate these characteristics. The presence of a steerable rear axle and a power-to-weight ratio of 1.98 kg/CV have also been essential components in turning the SVJ into the ultimate machine on track, but now that we are closer than ever to its presentation and to learning more mechanical details, the Italian bull is showing its face.

Thanks to this teaser we can see a much more aggressive and prominent bonnet, where two air intakes sit to improve aerodynamics and cool various mechanical components. At the same time, the green colour applied to the Aventador SVJ’s bodywork hints that it will be the shade chosen for its presentation, which will take place at Pebble Beach in just a few weeks.

Without a doubt, it will be one of the vehicles of the moment and, although we do not know the mechanical details, we know that its naturally aspirated V12 engine will remain under its skin, but on this occasion delivering close to 800 CV of power. We will soon know this new Lamborghini SVJ in detail but, in the meantime, we will have to make do with this teaser.
