The Lamborghini Urus is shown tackling dunes in Sabbia mode... And how!
The Urus has three more driving modes than the rest of Lamborghini’s models to improve its behaviour on difficult and demanding terrain

If there is one model that has had us paying attention to any news related to it, it is the Lamborghini Urus. We already know it is not the brand’s first SUV, although the first one was a rather special car that never became as popular as they would have liked. The Urus will be presented on 4 December, but for several days now we have been receiving details of what this new model will mean for Lamborghini, a brand we associate with a different kind of car.
In this video, which is short but intense, we can see the Lamborghini Urus, although conveniently camouflaged, tackling the dunes of a desert. What they want to show us are the driving modes that whoever gets behind the wheel of this off-roader will be able to enjoy. To begin with, we find the three modes that are usually on all Lamborghini models. These are controlled through ANIMA, which is an acronym for Adaptive Network Intelligence Management, and they are Strada, Sport and Corsa, although to give it more versatility on difficult terrain, three more have been added.

These three new driving modes are Terra (earth), Neve (snow) and Sabbia (sand), which are very suitable for the capabilities of this new Italian model. In fact, it is the third of them that is activated to get over the sand dunes shown in the video. The three new modes adapt the suspension, traction, steering and the car’s overall behaviour to improve grip on difficult terrain, but the Sabbia option will be the favourite of the wealthy drivers of the Middle East, who will enjoy driving across the desert dunes.
Lamborghini is investing heavily in the launch of this model, which it hopes will help increase the brand’s sales worldwide. It has even carried out an expansion of the Sant’Agata Bolognese factory, with improvements to the manufacturing process to meet the demand for this model. Are you excited for 4 December to arrive and finally see the Urus in action without camouflage?
