Cybertruck Tesla Electric Cars Pick-up
The latest extravagance of the Tesla Cybertruck: an electromagnetic-proof cover
Electromagnetic pulses can be produced by a solar storm or a nuclear explosion, so the Cybertruck needs to be protected against them.

The Tesla Cybertruck has become that vehicle everyone wants to see, yet it has so many strange features that we don’t know what to expect from this electric model. Its exterior look, its capabilities, its weight and its size, which make it a vehicle that cannot move freely on our roads and streets… Everything about this vehicle is very strange, and now comes something that makes it even more extravagant.
Electromagnetic pulses arise from natural phenomena such as solar storms and, something stranger but very real, from the explosion of a nuclear bomb. The electromagnetic emission fries all electrical circuits and renders them useless. This would affect an electric vehicle like the Cybertruck and would turn it into a useless brick. But one company has found a solution to prevent this.

The company is called Mission Darkness, and the product just presented is a cover that protects the Cybertruck from this kind of catastrophe. It is a cover that, from the outside, looks like a cargo container, but with fabric for walls and roof instead of a rigid structure.

PROTECCIÓN EMP CYBERTRUCK
This fabric is made of a copper-nickel alloy, which allows it to reject electromagnetic waves and protect the vehicle from their effects. Of course, it also blocks all other signals. This means that it does not receive radio emissions, internet connection and other signals that may be important, such as those carrying software updates.
In addition, its composition means it is not advisable to keep this cover outdoors, since it could rust easily, losing effectiveness. The supports for the metal fabric are made of carbon fiber and the fasteners are aluminum so that installation is lighter.
This cover is called Cybercylent Faraday Car Cover and, according to the company that presented it, it has demonstrated its capabilities in several tests carried out by the United States Army, which is a client of other products from the company. It also sells other types of covers designed for smaller electronic devices. This one fits the size and shape of the Cybertruck perfectly, to be safe even after a nuclear apocalypse.
