The LEPAS L8 offers an adaptable space suited to travelling in comfort

The Chery Group has just unveiled the LEPAS L8, a battery electric model that offers plenty of solutions for travelling safely and with plenty of space. The LEPAS L8 has a spacious boot, which is ideal for preparing trips and outdoor getaways, without forgetting everyday use. A generous 507-litre capacity, which can be extended to 1,314 litres when the rear seats are folded down, means all the travel gear can come along.

But space is not everything. It has also been designed with a configurable interior, which allows the seats to be arranged in different ways to create more room and a more comfortable journey. In total, there are 16 configurations that allow the seats to be positioned so that occupants stay comfortable and have room to travel in comfort.

These interior changes allow for a large flat loading area. Anything that might be needed on the journey has its place in the car, so you can travel with everything you need. Once at the destination, the LEPAS L8 becomes a base vehicle that makes outdoor living effortless for the duration of the getaway.

The V2L capability allows several small appliances to be connected to run a cooker or any other external device you may need. Its output of 6.6 kW also means it can charge the battery of another electric vehicle, making it a very attractive car.

The seats also allow a bed to be made so that two people can rest comfortably, so it is also a very interesting car for camping. Its plug-in hybrid powertrain, made up of a 1.5-litre engine and an electric motor, gives it a generous range of more than 1,300 kilometres.
