The Lexus ICE: new in-car entertainment system from Lexus

Although some audio and video systems mounted on the dashboard to entertain the front-seat occupants do in fact entertain all the occupants of the car, with dangerous consequences for the driver, Lexus has introduced its latest Lexus ICE system on the backs of the front seats, aimed at the passengers.
Lexus has fitted two separate DVD units on the backs of the front seats, in a style that does not break with the interior design but complements it, blending perfectly into the cabin as a whole. Each player features high-definition 8-inch LCD screens.
The touch-sensitive buttons on the DVD units are complemented by a remote control, giving the user the comfort needed for long journeys. Each unit also has a separate socket for a USB memory device and another SD card slot, allowing videos, music and/or photos previously stored to be played.
The new Lexus ICE system will be added to the brand’s range of vehicle accessories from July onwards.
