The new Lexus RC Coupé will arrive in 2021, and 350 lucky buyers will be able to enjoy the limited Black Line edition. Shall we take a closer look?

The Lexus RC Coupé is receiving a series of minor updates for the generation that will see the light of day next year, 2021. Among its most notable features is its new limited edition called Black Line. The brand will make it possible for the new Lexus RC Coupé 2021 to be fitted as standard across the range with an assistant that warns of blind spots, with rear cross-traffic alert.
Among the other news, it is also worth mentioning that Lexus will offer its customers a new palette of eight exterior colours, including the paint called Grecian Water.

The new Lexus RC Coupé 2021 will be offered with the same engine range, which means that the base RC 300 models are powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo engine producing 245 CV and 349 Nm of maximum torque, combined with an eight-speed automatic gearbox. Customers who opt for the RC 300 AWD 2021 get a 3.5-litre naturally aspirated V6 with 265 CV and 319 Nm of maximum torque, paired with a six-speed automatic gearbox.

The RC 350 and RC 350 AWD models are powered by a more powerful 3.5-litre V6 engine, producing 320 CV and 379 Nm of maximum torque. The rear-wheel-drive RC 350 uses an eight-speed automatic gearbox, while the all-wheel-drive variant gets a six-speed automatic. Lexus will continue to offer the RC 350 in the more dynamic F Sport styling, which features an optional Torsen limited-slip differential. This version is capable of going from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.8 seconds, while the RC 350 AWD requires a flat 6 seconds for the same test. Which version do you choose?

In addition, the Japanese carmaker will offer only 350 units of the Lexus RC Black Line 2021, which will be available as the RC 300 and RC 350. The new special edition is based on the F Sport trim level and features Premium Triple-Beam LED headlights, 19-inch F Sport wheels in black chrome and darkened exhaust tips. Customers will be able to choose between the exterior colour options Ultra White or the all-new Cloudburst Grey, while the interior of the limited-edition Lexus RC features silver stitching, Ash Wood trim and Black Nuluxe detailing as standard. It would be remiss not to mention that all Lexus Black Line Special Edition 2021 models will come with a set of custom travel cases from Zero Halliburton.
