08 Lynk & Co Electric Cars ECO
The Lynk & Co 08 is already being tested on the road, although it is camouflaged
The electric model from the Chinese company has already begun the test cycle that anticipates its arrival on the market during the year 2021, although we can already see it

The Chinese brand Lynk & Co, which belongs to the Geely group, is ready to unveil to the world its all-electric new model. After the Lynk& Co 03 saloon and several SUVs, the brand dares to venture into a new electric model that seeks to offer a memorable driving experience in the form of a Sport Tourer. A model with a high-performance electric powertrain that has been seen running wrapped in camouflage during a test session.
This model follows on from the concept model Lynk & Co Zero EV, which was presented some time ago and has been refined so that it offers the best characteristics for its future users. The model was spotted on the Yan Cheng test track, in the province of Jiangsu. These first tests under real driving conditions will continue in the wind tunnel and in subsequent circuit tests to get the model ready for its arrival on the market in mid-2021.

What we see in these photos is an elegant and attractive car that measures 4.85 metres in length and has a wheelbase of 3 metres. Its width is 1.98 metres and its height 1.53 metres. This allows it to have a shape that, together with the air suspension and the electric powertrain equipment, enables it to reach 100 km/h in less than 4 seconds from a standing start.

In terms of styling, the front headlights stand out, which have become strips of LED lights that create a distinctive light signature. Other LED lights are located on either side of the closed grille, so aesthetically it has a very striking look. It is a five-door saloon, although its styling promises power, speed and excitement behind the wheel.
The car sits on the SEA platform, which other vehicles of the brand also use, and although no data has been specified about power, data has been given about the battery. It has a capacity of 100 kWh and will allow the car to travel up to 700 kilometres on a single charge. The 800-volt charging technology will get it to 80% in a very short time and allow it to resume its journey in a relatively short time.
As for the interior, it remains a mystery, but in terms of equipment it will have Level 3 autonomous driving capability, as well as the possibility of over-the-air software updates. A car that will be ready in 2021 and which we hope to see in full soon.
