The Maserati Ghibli gains more power with the Novitec kit

The Maserati Ghibli features a new power upgrade and cosmetic improvements thanks to kits from a company specialising in enhancing the specifications of models from the trident brand, which considerably increase peak power and torque

Some cars are spectacular in their own right. But manufacturers still strive to give them a more special touch and make them more desirable. That is why they are sometimes handed over to companies that specialise in adding power or improving their looks. After fitting the Quattroporte with an upgrade kit, Novitec has now focused on the Maserati Ghibli saloon.

Through its dedicated division for Maserati, the brand has prepared an additional power kit for this model, in both petrol and diesel versions, with prices starting at 1,290 euros. With this upgrade, both versions see their power increased and push this car beyond 300 CV, which makes it a rather impressive machine.

The 3.0 V6 diesel engine comes standard with 247 CV, but after the upgrade it rises to 301 CV, while the 271 CV version reaches 318 CV. The 0 to 100 km/h acceleration drops from 6.3 seconds to 5.6 seconds.

As for the twin-turbo petrol engine of the Ghibli S, the Novitec kit adds 66 CV and 90 Nm, raising it to 469 CV and 640 Nm. This increase allows the all-wheel-drive version, the S Q4, to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds and reach a top speed of 294 km/h.

But the upgrade kit does not stop at this power increase; it can also be complemented with cosmetic details, such as wheels in silver, black, titanium or polished titanium. Suspension adjustable by up to 35 mm, plus an aerodynamic package. Naturally, all these add-ons start at 3,980 euros, and the more extras you choose, the more it will cost.
