The McLaren 570GT gains sportiness thanks to the new Sport Pack option package
Some customers were calling for more sportiness in the McLaren 570GT, something Woking has addressed with the Sport Pack: with new parts and recalibrations

The McLaren 570GT is characterised as the model from Woking that perhaps sidelines sportiness the most, focusing instead on a car that is comfortable and luxurious for long journeys and not so many “track days”. But for all those owners of a 570GT who do want their dose of sportiness, McLaren has remedied this with the launch of the Sport Pack, a series of upgrades, some of which were already present on the McLaren 570S Spider.
These upgrades will be available across all McLaren Sport Series models, but the new Sport Pack focuses mainly on the 570GT, so we will concentrate on this model. McLaren had already added carbon-ceramic brakes as standard on the 570GT, but even so this is not enough for certain demanding McLaren customers, who wanted greater dynamism, precision and sportiness.

With the Sport Pack, a series of components is fitted, and in other areas changes are made to the calibrations, such as those made to the steering, which are the same as those found on the coupé and spider versions. In addition, more sporty adjustments are made to the adaptive damping and stability control, along with the fitting of Pirelli P-ZERO CORSA tyres. Fitting the Sport Pack to the McLaren 570GT costs £4,900, which at current exchange rates is around €5,700.
Through McLaren Special Operations, a new electrochromic roof has been developed for the 570GT, which allows the opacity to be varied according to the driver’s preferences, very useful during the months with higher ultraviolet radiation. This new roof joins the options already available, in green or dark grey.

In the personalisation section, McLaren has added five new Design Edition packages for the 570GT, which combine exterior and interior colours in a more optimised way, at a lower cost than if they were ordered separately. The available combinations are Silica White with Saddle Tan and Carbon Black, Pacific Blue with Jet Black and Areia Cream, Blade Silver with Natural Tan and Carbon Black, Fire Black with Jet Black and Areia, and Storm Grey with Jet Black and Almond White.
In addition, the new colour options introduced on the 570S Spider will also be available on the rest of the models, namely Curacao Blue, Vega Blue and Sicilian Yellow, plus three new exclusive interiors, new 10-spoke wheel designs and brake calipers in Liquid Black. Also, when fitted with the reversing camera, the image will be displayed on the TFT screen in the instrument cluster.
Finally, the Track Pack option for the 570S Coupé now includes six new Alcantara interior designs, while the rear spoiler, 12 mm taller and exclusive to the Track Pack, will now be available for all coupé models in the Sport Series range.
