The McLaren 570GT will get an exclusive limited edition called MSO Black Collection
McLaren brings out the darkest side of the 570GT with the MSO Black Collection edition, limited to just 100 units starting at nearly £180,000

A couple of months ago the McLaren 570GT made headlines for receiving the so-called Sport Pack among its options, a set of parts and calibrations designed to bring out the sportiness this model keeps somewhat hidden inside. Now it is back in the spotlight, as McLaren is about to reveal the darkest side of the 570GT with a limited edition called MSO Black Collection.
For McLaren, the colour black is mainly associated with elegance, power and authority, all surrounded by a certain aura of mystery. These are the characteristics they have tried to imprint on this 570GT MSO Black Collection, combining the exclusivity and luxury this model already exudes with the sportiness MSO adds through the creation of unique parts.

In this way, on the exterior, darkness engulfs the McLaren 570GT thanks to the Carbon Black colour applied to its bodywork. We then find a new pack of parts, also in black, replacing the originals: the front and rear splitters, side skirts and air intakes. The exterior ensemble is finished with 5-spoke double-spoke wheels painted in the new Gloss Black Diamond colour, fitted with Pirelli P Zero Corsa tyres and accompanied by black brake calipers.
Inside, as you can imagine, the colour scheme matches the exterior, with black dominating the entire upholstery in Jet Black leather combined with Carbon Black Alcantara, found on the centre tunnel, the lower part of the instrument panel, the roof, the steering wheel and around the speakers. The electric, heated seats are upholstered in Semi-Aniline leather, with an embroidered MSO logo on the headrest. To round off the interior, it features an electric sunroof with black-tinted glass, although an electrochromic glass with five selectable shades can optionally be fitted, as well as a commemorative plaque bearing the unit’s number.

Mechanically, it comes as standard with the Sport Pack, plus the new titanium exhaust just presented by MSO, which reduces the vehicle’s weight by 5 kilograms and increases its sound by 5 decibels, although for this edition it comes with black exhaust outlets. Finally, the GT Upgrade Pack is also fitted as standard, including vehicle lift, a reversing camera, steering column power adjustment and a 12-speaker audio system signed by Bowers & Wilkins.
The McLaren 570GT MSO Black Collection will be almost a collector’s piece, as only 100 units will be put on the market, with a starting price set at £179,950. Customer deliveries will begin in the summer.
