The Mercedes EQA completes its range with the EQA 300 and EQA 350

The launch version of the German brand’s first mid-size electric SUV completes its range with two new variants that are more complete and powerful.

Mercedes EQA

The Mercedes EQA is an electric model from the German brand, the entry-level version of this range. A mid-size SUV that scales down the proportions of the Mercedes EQC, which is larger and more powerful and was the company’s first fully electric model. The launch version of this car with an electric powertrain was the Mercedes EQA 250, which has been the entry variant of this innovative model.

But the brand does not want this to be the only version of the EQA, so it has prepared other versions so that different types of buyers can have the variant they need. It has just announced that production will begin in the first third of June, and they will reach international markets shortly after.

New versions for buyers

The Mercedes range grows with the arrival of the EQA 300 4M and the EQA 350 4M. The 4M designation refers to the 4MATIC all-wheel drive fitted to both new variants. This means that, unlike the launch version, these two new models can use this type of drive to improve their performance.

The Mercedes EQA 300 4M delivers 168 kW, equivalent to 228 CV, and a maximum torque of 390 Nm. As it is an electric model, all this power is available from the moment the accelerator is pressed. The 0 to 100 km/h acceleration is 7.7 seconds and it will be offered in different configurations.

This has been measured according to the WLTP cycle, which is the reference in Europe. Range is rated at between 409 and 430 kilometres, although it varies slightly in the city, where it reaches between 494 and 513 kilometres.

For its part, the Mercedes EQA 350 4M has higher power, reaching 215 kW, equivalent to 292 CV, and a maximum torque of 520 Nm. With these figures it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6 seconds. As for range, it remains the same as the other version.

Both versions sit well above the variant we already know, which you can learn more about by following the link. Looking at prices, the Mercedes EQA 300 4M will cost 54,500 euros, while the price of the Mercedes EQA 350 4M is 56,675 euros.
