The Mercedes EQC 400 4MATIC gets a new look thanks to the new AMG Line trim
The Mercedes EQC 400 4MATIC will receive aesthetic improvements and a sportier look thanks to the AMG Line package, which will be standardised across Europe

With the EQC Mercedes the brand has fully entered the world of all-electric vehicles, a model that has opened a new path for the German manufacturer. It should be said, however, that it will not arrive with sporting aspirations. That said, this will not stop its styling from being a little sportier, so those who want it will soon be able to opt for the AMG Line trim in search of a more aggressive design.
The new AMG Line package will be available for the Mercedes EQC 400 4MATIC, with the advantage that it will be a unique configuration for the European market. In exterior terms, the front features chrome accents as distinctive details, applied against the black background of the grille with a black surround, while the lower part of the bumper changes with new air intakes, much more refined and which again use chrome to give a fresh look.

At the rear of the Mercedes EQC 400 4MATIC AMG Line, the lower section of the rear bumper is modified, featuring a new black section acting as a diffuser crossed from side to side by a thin chrome line. Finally, to round off the exterior changes, the mirror housings are now body-coloured and the car rides on AMG-designed alloy wheels measuring 19 inches.
Moving inside the Mercedes EQC 400 4MATIC AMG Line, for example, we find sports seats upholstered in a combination of leather and DINAMICA microfibre, with contrast stitching in grey. This contrast stitching is also used in other areas such as the door panels and the centre armrest. In addition, the flat-bottomed sports steering wheel is trimmed in Nappa leather, the same material used for the dashboard. Finally, there are carbon-look inserts, brushed steel pedals and AMG floor mats.

But this package does not only bring aesthetic improvements to the EQC; it also comes with interesting standard equipment, including items such as:
- Easy-Pack boot
- Tirefit tyre repair kit
- Interior lighting package
- Comfort seats package
- Mirror package
- Active parking assistant with Parktronic
- Acoustic and thermal glazing
- Parking package with rear-view camera
- Advanced sound system
- Extended remote and charging services
Otherwise, the Mercedes EQC 400 4MATIC AMG Line remains as we know it, so mechanically it still uses two electric motors producing 300 kW sent to all four wheels, and a 80 kWh lithium-ion battery, giving a maximum range of 462 kilometres. It now includes as standard an 11 kW on-board charger, which allows a full charge in 40 minutes using a DC fast charger with a maximum output of 110 kW.
