The Mercedes GLC Coupé is briefly teased after undergoing a facelift.
Mercedes has already done the same with the standard GLC by giving it a facelift, something that will happen very soon with the Coupé, as this video previews.

The SUV segment is gaining strength and intensity over the years, something we see reflected in the eagerness with which brands are adding them to their ranks. Mercedes, one of the pioneering brands in developing this type of vehicle, has gradually built up its SUV presence within its model range, which has given rise to illustrious vehicles such as the GLC. That name refers to the crossover that takes the Mercedes C-Class as its reference and, after its corresponding facelift, the turn has come for the GLC Coupé, a vehicle that was briefly glimpsed in this teaser.
Both the Mercedes C-Class and the standard GLC have undergone a series of aesthetic, technological and mechanical improvements thanks to a facelift, which would sooner or later be applied to the body of the entry-level coupé SUV. With this in mind, we are about to witness not only a refreshed GLC Coupé, but also design guidelines that will set the standards to follow for future generations.
Subtle improvements that can be seen from afar and in the dim light
As is customary in this type of video, the star brand has chosen to keep a mystery around one of its most successful models. Although they have been cautious enough not to show the final look too early, Mercedes has allowed us to glimpse a series of details through several beams of light that reveal certain features of the new GLC Coupé.

A more polished and cleaner front end leads the renewed coupé SUV from the German brand, in which sleeker, more dynamic headlights steal much of the spotlight. The imposing star stands out as an unmistakable distinguishing feature, just as it does on the other Mercedes models, and is complemented by a more sharply styled and sporty diffuser.
The rear, seen on a second unit further away, shows that same new design from the taillights onward. These retain that butterfly-wing configuration so characteristic and, above all, distinctive when night falls. We also notice how the coupé configuration of the GLC has been respected throughout, with the C-pillar sweeping down emphatically to give rise to a lower, more streamlined and aerodynamic body.

For the moment, the arrival date of the Mercedes GLC Coupé after this facelift is unknown, but given the presence of its standard sibling and the important news from the brand, we can assume it will be soon. With this in mind, the German brand is clearly showing its intention to update its model range, which is beginning to adopt a new design language following the arrival of the new GLE.
