The MG HS updates its price list and starts from 22,990 euros
The mid-size SUV from MG gets a maximum discount until March 31 that makes it a really attractive option from less than 23 thousand euros
With the introduction of the 1.5 Turbo GDI petrol engine with 162 CV last September, the MG HS already became one of the SUVs on the Spanish market with one of the best value-for-money ratios in terms of price and equipment. However, the Chinese brand and its concept “Premium for everyone” have wanted to go even further, updating the price list of its MG HS and turning it into an almost unbeatable option if you are looking for an SUV with good interior space, safety and comprehensive equipment.
Since its commercial launch, the MG HS has not suffered any price increase, starting from 26,790 euros in its entry-level variant and from 31,590 euros in the top-of-the-range version. A price that, thanks to the new discounts offered by the brand, leaves the SUV with a starting price of 22,990 euros for its most affordable variant and 26,390 euros for its version with the most equipment.
With these discounts, MG positions its HS as a premium family SUV at a compact price, since with the discounts offered until March 31, 2023, it competes with the prices of smaller models such as the Kia Xceed, the Hyundai i30, the SEAT León or the Skoda Fabia, among others.

With two trim levels available (Comfort and Luxury) and a six-speed manual gearbox or a seven-speed automatic dual-clutch gearbox, the MG HS is available for immediate delivery at any of the 50 MG sales points in Spain. We should also mention that this new discount campaign is also compatible with the one for comprehensive all-risk insurance included for one year.
Discounts by trim level
In the case of the MG HS with the Comfort trim and the manual gearbox, a discount of 3,800 euros has been offered, which takes the base price of 26,790 euros down to 22,990 euros. In the case of the HS with the same manual gearbox but the Luxury trim, the discount increases to 4,000 euros, which takes the price of 29,950 euros down to 25,590 euros.

Moving on to the MG HS with the seven-speed automatic gearbox and the Comfort trim, MG offers a discount of 5,000 euros on the base price of 28,790 euros, bringing it down to 23,790 euros. Finally, the HS with the automatic gearbox and the Luxury trim gets a discount of 5,200 euros, bringing the final price down to 26,390 euros.
One of its strengths, the equipment
At these prices, the MG HS comes with standard equipment that includes a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10.1-inch touchscreen for the infotainment system, and the MG Pilot system, which adds Lane Keeping Assist, Blind Spot Detection and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert. To this interesting list of equipment we can also add Full LED lighting, an electric tailgate, a panoramic roof or 18-inch wheels if you opt for the Luxury trim.
