The electric mobility represents a very attractive concept for brands, but also a very demanding one for them. However, electric mobility is not limited to fully electric vehicles; there are also other forms of electrification that are becoming increasingly popular and that serve to achieve the much-anticipated transition to 100% electric cars.

Plug-in hybrid models are one of the most attractive alternatives for users of electrified cars, so there are more and more models of this kind on the market. Mitsubishi has presented at the Japan Mobility Show a new prototype that combines a combustion engine with electric motors powered by energy stored in a rechargeable battery.

The Mitsubishi Elevance Concept is a concept car, which means it features characteristics that production cars do not have. In fact, this model has four electric motors, called quad-motor 4WD , one at each wheel, operating independently. In addition, at the rear it has an active yaw control system (AYC).

This ensures a comfortable and safe ride both on roads and off-road. This system prevents rolling and swaying, making the comfort greater at all times.

A revealing exterior

The exterior of this model is based on the Luxury Adventurer design, which features a fluid cabin alongside a robust body that projects an image of elegance and strength. The front stands out, with the Dynamic Shield grille featuring a honeycomb design, and a body design that allows occupants to enjoy views of the outside.

In front of the driver is a panoramic instrument panel that presents all the information intuitively and displays images of blind spots that are not usually visible in other models. The Co-Driver system offers solutions for safer and more efficient driving. The artificial intelligence learns from how the driver behaves and improves the driving experience.

The seats are arranged in three rows, with seven seats available. The boot offers space for luggage, allowing comfortable travel without giving up carrying suitcases. This SUV is the electric prototype that promises an advance in the brand’s electrified models and will set the course the brand follows.
