The 'My Honda' system is integrated across the entire Honda range
Honda will include the ‘My Honda’ system across its entire range free of charge until March 31, so that all models are connected to smartphones

Until now, only new drivers of the Honda Civic could benefit from the connected vehicle system ‘My Honda‘, but the Japanese manufacturer has decided to extend it to all future buyers of one of its models. This will last until March 31, since all Honda models registered up to that date will come with this connectivity equipment free of charge. The models where it will be available are the Jazz, the HR-V and CR-V, which will join the connectivity offer in its cars.
The ‘My Honda‘ system includes several safety and vehicle maintenance functions through an app that can be controlled via the smartphone, whether it is Android or iOS. One of the most interesting features is the ability to connect with an operator who will help you resolve the situation. If this incident causes the airbags to deploy, the system automatically calls the emergency services, also sending the geolocation so that they can locate you efficiently.

But this will not be the only function accessible through the system offered by the manufacturer. Another is the one that tracks the vehicle’s movements, called “towing alert“, which warns if the car moves without the engine running. In addition, driving zones and speed limits can be set for third-party drivers. For example, if the vehicle leaves the programmed zone or exceeds the set speed limit, it sends a message that the owner receives on their mobile phone.

The ‘My Honda‘ also records engine activity and status, as well as battery status and data from recent trips. This makes it possible to monitor fuel consumption and other variables. Brand maintenance services can be booked, and drivers can receive the latest news and any information the brand wishes to pass on to Honda owners. From March 31, this service will become optional, so if you are interested in it, now is the time to buy a Honda.
