The new Audi SQ2 will arrive in January, and we show you all its angles in these 11 images
Audi presented the new SQ2 a few months ago, but it is only now that the four-ring brand has allowed us to take a detailed look at this model

A few months ago, Audi unveiled to the world a new offshoot that embraced the pairing causing such buzz and success: a sporty-styled SUV. On this occasion, the Q2 was the one to receive the “S” designation on its rear, a badge that ensures its bearer offers a high level of performance. However, at that time the four-ring brand gave us only a single image of this new variant of its entry-level SUV, but now we have been able to see the SQ2 in all its glory thanks to these 11 photographs that reveal both its rear and its cabin.
As is customary in the German firm’s sporting creations, we see not only a more exalted engine but also a styling in keeping with the performance the model is capable of delivering. The Audi SQ2 was not going to be an exception, and it has received some significant changes that offer a perfect balance between elegance and sportiness.
The front, the only area known to date of the Audi SQ2, draws us in with a black grille that seeks to contrast with the exterior colour. To season the front of the German SUV, the designers have incorporated two prominent air intakes, which will cool various components that work at high temperatures.

Continuing to analyse the new SQ2’s exterior, we find a smooth side without great flourishes, except for a strip that lets us know the Quattro all-wheel drive is present in this new variant and more muscular side sills. The rear has been softened with a new spoiler that suggests a much sportier and more aggressive character, as does the diffuser and a quad exhaust outlet that promises a sound befitting the “S” badge.
The cabin, in addition to offering the latest technology used by Audi, is enhanced by sports-style seats that offer different colour configurations. The same goes for the dashboard, where we find carbon-fibre-look inserts alongside several red details that aim to highlight the clear sporting character of the new Audi SQ2.

In this way, the designers of the four-ring brand have been able to develop a series of features that alert their audience to the heart that lies within the SUV. To be more specific, the new Audi SQ2 uses the 2.0 TFSI, a powerplant capable of delivering 300 CV and 400 Nm of torque, figures that allow an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.8 seconds and a top speed of 250 km/h. For now we do not know the price of the SQ2 package, but Audi has confirmed that sales of this variant will begin in January 2019.
