The new BMW M2 already has prices for Spain. Let us know what you think!

Unveiled just over half a year ago, the new generation of the BMW M2 has been one of the most anticipated launches from BMW, with no less than 460 CV under its bonnet, the option of a six-speed manual gearbox and a completely new exterior and interior design.

However, with all of this on the table, BMW had not said anything about the prices of its great M2, so today we bring you the answer to that question, since the brand has just revealed the entry price of both its manual version and the version with an eight-speed automatic gearbox.

A machine in a compact size

The sports coupé in the compact segment, the entry point to the brand, features the same propulsion and chassis technology adapted from the BMW M3 and M4, consisting of the 3.0-litre twin-turbo inline six-cylinder engine, which increases power by 90 CV over its predecessor and produces 550 Nm of maximum torque between 2,650 and 5,870 rpm.

Built alongside the new BMW 2 Series Coupé at the BMW Group plant in San Luis Potosí, Mexico, the new BMW M2 promises to be a true sports car in every sense, living up to expectations, capable of going from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds with the automatic gearbox and 4.3 seconds with the manual, from 0 to 200 km/h in 13.5 seconds in the automatic version and 14.3 seconds in the manual, and reaching a top speed of 285 km/h if the optional M Driver’s Package is fitted.

Its price

That said, the time has come to reveal the price of the new BMW M2 for Spain, which is 91,250 euros for both the manual and the automatic version. A fairly high price, sitting 26,600 euros below the BMW M3 Competition Saloon. Considering the widespread rise in new car prices, it seems a reasonable figure. What do you think?
