The new BMW M5 comes dressed in exclusive M Performance parts

The new BMW M5 promises to be one of the sportiest and most powerful saloons of all time. It carries a strong legacy handed down by its predecessors -who set the bar very high- but the German manufacturer is ready to rewrite history with its latest creation.

In recent products from BMW’s “M” division we have found a series of very special parts. These elements come from the M Performance department, which help create a much more exclusive and unique BMW. The M5 is no exception, and it can also be fitted with these parts.

All the components that M Performance incorporates into BMW products are functional. They work in harmony to improve both aerodynamics and reduce the weight of the M5, making it even faster. All the parts are developed in carbon fibre and not only provide a much more aggressive and sporty look, but also contribute to slimming down the “M” vehicles from BMW.

The M Performance package includes a carbon fibre rear spoiler, rear diffuser and front splitter. The combination of these parts contributes to the aerodynamics of the BMW M5. But the German firm has also wanted to change the styling, so it offers a carbon fibre front grille and mirror caps made from the same material.

The M5 also gets changes to its suspension and brakes thanks to M Performance. The new adaptive suspension provides greater cornering grip and greater rigidity when it comes to body roll. The brakes offered by BMW’s sporting division are carbon-ceramic, aimed at making braking on both the road and the track far more precise.

If the sweet melody emitted by the 600 CV twin-turbo V8 is not enough for your ears, don’t worry, BMW has thought of that too. M Performance offers a sport exhaust system that amplifies the burble of the new M5. Unfortunately it will be an exclusive part for the US and Canadian markets, so for now we won’t see that exhaust in Europe.

The new M5 M Performance features decorative and eye-catching elements that radiate sportiness everywhere. BMW gives you the option of adding stripes in three colours, representing the “M” logo. The blue and red stripes will be present on various parts of the German saloon.
