The new BMW X7 will be unveiled in October

The new BMW X7 was expected to finally be unveiled at the “Los Angeles Auto Show” in November; however, the German company has confirmed that the debut will in fact take place one month earlier.

A representative of BMW has stated that a full-size crossover will be revealed in mid-October. The additional information is limited, but the publication says that both its design and its technical specifications will be revealed at that time.

Although the official website suggests the model could be presented at the Paris Motor Show, the dates do not add up. This event will take place from 2 October, dates that differ from the statements placing the model’s presentation at the end of October.

The shared mid-October date, more specifically around the 14th of that same month, may simply indicate when the official technical information will be published online. This could potentially mean that the crossover will still make its debut in Los Angeles.

However, the model has already been partially seen thanks to the teasers that BMW has shared on multiple occasions, or even thanks to leaked photographs showing the final design of the model.

It will look like an X5, only larger and equipped with a host of new features, both stylistic and performance-related, that will set it apart from one another.

The engine options known so far are a 3.0-litre inline six-cylinder engine producing 335 CV and 450 Nm of torque, or a more powerful, enthusiast option featuring a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 engine producing 456 CV and 650 Nm of torque.
