With a more aggressive and sportier new look, Chevrolet’s quintessential muscle car is renewed and its sale extended to Europe, where it will arrive towards the end of the year. And although Spanish roads are not a place where we see many American sports cars, the new Camaro will also have a place under the sun in the Spanish market.

The new-generation Chevrolet Camaro features a completely redesigned front end, accompanying the most significant renewal of this sports car since its return in 2008. The lower air intake is larger, while the grille is narrower, with an additional air intake added to the bonnet. At the rear, the shape of the tail has been modified, with more straight angles and a closer resemblance to the Camaros of yesteryear. The rear lights now have a more horizontal shape and a diffuser has been added.

The engine on offer will be the 6.2-litre V8 producing 432 CV, paired with a six-speed manual gearbox with short shifter. Cars equipped with an automatic gearbox will have 405 CV, a transmission that will also include a manual shifting function.

The equipment list is extensive. For example, keyless entry comes as standard on all models, although remote start is available as an option. The Chevrolet MyLink system is also standard, integrating a rear-view camera and voice recognition through a 7-inch screen that can extend onto a HUD to avoid distractions.

The starting prices of the Chevrolet Camaro in Spain will be €45,900 for the coupé with manual gearbox and €51,900 for the convertible with manual gearbox.
