The new convertible supercar is called the Rezvani Beast Alpha

Last year we had the chance to see the launch of the supercar from the Californian brand Rezvani, which received the very fitting name Beast, the Beast. A name it shares with the presidential car of the United States, which Donald Trump will now use. This year we have a new version of this car, although this time it is a convertible, and it also changes its name to Beast Alpha.

Beyond the name, there are many changes hidden in this new version with a removable roof. To start with, the chassis is not based on the Ariel Atom; instead it takes its base from a platform based on Lotus. The engine is the same, a 2.4-litre four-cylinder K24 block, but it does not use the same turbocharger as its sibling. In this case, it uses a Rotrex supercharger, together with a new set of camshafts, pistons and more robust connecting rods.

With all this, it delivers 500 CV of power and achieves a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration in just 3.2 seconds. The top speed this car reaches is 281 km/h, a considerable figure that places it among especially attractive cars. To all this we must add its low weight, just 884 kg, which helps it achieve those spectacular figures.

The SideWinder doors give it a rather different look, as they move forward and leave a comfortable space for getting in and out of the car. And once inside, the luxury details continue, aimed at the comfort of the occupants. The seats feature Alcantara and black leather, which provide comfort for the person seated behind the wheel and for their passenger.

The infotainment system is also present to make the journey more comfortable. Connectivity is guaranteed for smartphones running Android and Windows, so access to them is available through the car’s central screen. The driver will also enjoy several driving modes, including one that minimises fuel consumption and another that maximises engine performance.
