After 4 years, the Ferrari F12 is ready for a facelift. Spy photographers from Autoblog have captured the next version of the two-seater around the Maranello circuit in Italy. According to Autocar, the production version of the F12 should be ready for the 2017 Geneva Motor Show.
Not many details of the new F12, which could be called the F12 M, are known yet. The lines we can see in the images are quite similar to those of its predecessor, so this is most likely a restyling rather than an all-new model. Under the cover over the car, elongated brake lights can be made out. Design changes are expected at the front and rear. The new Berlinetta will use an optimised version of its predecessor’s V12 engine, raising the 730 CV of power to around 769 CV, the figure of the F12tdf version.

The price of this new Berlinetta is expected to be higher than the 280,000€ of the current version.
Rumours about the introduction of hybrid technology in this 2017 model have lost momentum after statements from Sergio Marchionne. The CEO of the Prancing Horse brand assured that hybrid Ferraris would arrive from 2019. When that happens, the Berlinetta’s hybridisation will follow the path of La Ferrari, increasing its power above 800 CV.
